Banquets & Events Operations Manager
Event Manager will manage, support and mentor all event service staff and ensure accurate execution of all Hearth events, including acting as the direct contact for clients during an active event.
FT Salaried position starting at $45- $50,000 per year depending on exp.
paid vacation, health benefits, tip share
35-45 hours per week, variable scheduling
Duties include:
Management of front of house events staff (hiring, training, scheduling) and related administration
Clear communication with all other members of the events team to ensure accurate and exceptional event execution.
Ensuring event set up meets guest requirements before the event begins and ensuring each event runs smoothly including set up and movement of banquet furniture
Guest relationship development and hospitality including conflict resolution
Inventory management of event items including groceries, liquor, and smallwares
Shift reports, event cash outs and tracking for billing
Additional duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
2-5 years progressive management experience in the Hospitality industry
exceptional organizational and time management skills
exceptional communication skills
an eye for detail & a flair for hospitality
ability to lift 50 lb and work long days on your feet
