Overview:
F.O.S.L is currently recruiting for a mechanically inclined individual for a full-time permanent position. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical background, field experience, and analytical skills to be able to troubleshoot the repair and maintenance of natural gas compressors found within the Oil & Gas industry. Apprentices, Heavy-Duty mechanics, and mechanically inclined individuals are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided for the successful applicant. Applicants that possess experience of oilfield equipment maintenance & repair experience, take pride in their workmanship, and are committed to safety will be given extra consideration.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment in the field and in the shop
- Diagnose mechanical issues and propose solutions
- Repair or replace faulty components
- Conduct inspections to ensure safety and functionality
- Keep accurate records of work performed

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a mechanic preferred
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Field service work experienced preferred
- Verification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship preferred

This is a permanent position with F.O.S.L. Work will be 50% in the shop in Estevan, SK and 50% in the field in Southeast Saskatchewan. Pay will be negotiable & competitive.
