Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team at MidtownX Bar. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing food to the chef's specifications and ensuring high food quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards.
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following health and safety guidelines.
Monitor food stock levels and notify the chef or manager when supplies need to be reordered.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy shifts.
Assist with cleaning and closing down the kitchen at the end of each shift.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high food quality standards.
Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from the head chef.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
