The Safety Coordinator plays a vital support role within the safety team, focusing on training, administrative duties, updating templates and resources, and handling non-priority member work. This position is in Regina and will report to the Senior Safety Advisor.
Job Duties:
-Champion the integration, implementation, and promotion of the Service Hospitality vision, mandate, values, strategic and operational plan, directives, policies and procedures, and a positive workplace culture within yourself and working with the Service Hospitality team to fulfill Service Hospitalitys objectives and goals
-Present public training sessions via webinar or in-person
-Provide support with delivering member training sessions for Safety -Advisors, updating the WCB Data, Insightly, and the Priority Employer List
-Coordinate tradeshows, conferences, and safety events, including registration, preparation, set up, and hosting the SH booth
-Address non-priority member safety concerns and inquiries as assigned
Admin Duties include:
-Updates to Safety Resources and Templates
-Prepare training materials, presentations, and relevant documents
-Attend Advisor meetings and support with minute-taking
-Handle the Certificate process
-Assist with writing articles, communication pieces, and website maintenance when requested
-Support with safety research and quality assurance
-Act as a team member on programs, projects, and initiatives by supporting or sharing duties with all staff involved
-Other duties as assigned
Experience:
-Familiar with technology and computer platforms
-Professional business etiquette
-Demonstrated ability to deliver training and presentations
-Certificate/diploma from a post-secondary institution
-Willing to travel, overnight and out of province
-Valid drivers license and personal vehicle
