Description

The Chief Financial Officer will oversee the organization's financial strategy and operations, driving performance and growth. This role requires leadership by example, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and proactive strategy. The CFO will contribute as a key team member dedicated to personal and organizational growth.

Key Goals
Develop a three-year financial plan to support the organizations expansion in Western Canada, enhancing budgeting and reporting for strategic decision-making.
Champion the selection and implementation of a new ERP system.
Act as a strategic advisor to the leadership team, fostering an environment for continued high growth.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management:
Oversee financial operations across corporate, property, and construction teams.
Provide financial strategy, monitor results, and advise senior leadership.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and tax planning, ensuring compliance with external accountants.
Build a high-performing Accounting Division, emphasizing innovation and accuracy.
Drive continuous improvement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets.
Financing & Treasury:
Manage cash flow and real estate capital needs, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Develop strong relationships with financial institutions and financing advisors.
Oversee liability, insurance, and fund investment in coordination with external advisors.
Organizational Strategy:
Collaborate with the senior leadership team to align financial resources with corporate goals.
Build relationships with key partners and advocate for the organization's role in social change.
Support legal agreements, asset management, and performance management systems.
