Description

Job Description: The Manager, Payroll/Benefits, reports to Director of Staff Services, is accountable for the organization, direction, management, administration, coordination and evaluation of payroll and employee benefits programs and functions for the Region. The Manager, Payroll/Benefits is also accountable for the Shared Services initiatives throughout the health region and the management of Information Technology issues as they relate to Human Resources. These functions will include, but may not be limited to, payroll and employee benefits. The incumbent will also provide advice and be actively involved in other matters within the Human Resources portfolio.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Experience

    Experience working in payroll project innovation
    Experience in leading teams and project management
    Experience in leadership
    Supervisory experience is an asset
    Experience in a senior payroll classification
    Experience in health care

Education

    Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
    Business Administration diploma (DBA)
    Bachelor of Commerce (BComm)
    Undergraduate degree or diploma in an applicable field
    Accounting diploma

Licenses

    Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

    Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
    Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
