Description

Duties
Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive system
Repair and replace mechanical units or components
Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturers specifications
Estimate parts and labor
Do scheduled maintenance service
Do road test on vehicles
* Communicate with supervisor on all work, handle work orders, provide customer service and advise on work performed and future requirements

Credentials
-Tire, wheel and rim mechanic
-Automotive Service Technician (Transmission) Trade Certification
-Motor Vehicle Repairer (Service Station Mechanic) Trade Certification
-Motor Vehicle Inspector Certificate
-Driver's License (Class 1 or A)

Specialized Areas
-Diagnostics, alignment, steering and suspension.
-Brake system
-Welding

Additional information required
-Driving record check (abstract), own transportation, valid license
-Own tools and steeled toe boots
-must be accurate, reliable and team player
-must have good communication skills for customer service
