Wallace Construction has operated locally for 45 years as a family run business, with employees who have been by our side for 15 years+. We are a leader in Southwest Saskatchewan, specializing in a wide variety of commercial and residential projects, and are currently looking to fill an immediate opening for the following, full-time  position of Site Foreman/Superintendent.  

As a senior position, the successful candidate will possess journeyman carpenter accreditation and have a minimum 2 years experience in a similar supervisory role. The ability to lead a construction team and coordinate project operations in a hands-on manner is essential. Some travel may be required.

JOB PURPOSE: Complete the construction of various residential, commercial & industrial projects by scheduling materials and subcontractors, monitoring progress, supervising site staff and sub-contractors.

SPECIFIC SKILLS:
- All aspects of construction quality control, and supervising of sub-contractors.
- Involved in the preparation of estimates, and monitoring of budgets.
- Preparation of construction schedules, and regular updates, and responsible for meeting construction schedule.
- Ordering and scheduling materials and scheduling subcontractors.
- Monitoring of construction projects by confirming instructions for carpentry, plumbing, electrical, concrete, painting, and related trades.
- Conduct regular inspections.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Working knowledge of construction drawings & specifications
