The City of Moose Jaw is excited to fill its new position of Operations Analyst. Some of the duties include:
- Direct support and communications to Operations management identifying gaps, weaknesses and vulnerable areas with respect to task, project, and resource management
- Coordination and compilation of required data, trends, and analysis
- Act as interdepartmental and external stakeholders throughout process and project evaluations to define metrics, progress, and completion
- Ensure open communication exists with interdepartmental and external stakeholder throughout process and project evaluations
- Asset and resource management
- Coordination, support and facilitation of operational tasks and projects to GIS systems
- Work tracking and support, connecting technical, administrative, and operational tasks, processes, and resources
- Project and task support for permitting, agreements, reviews, and Operations approvals
- Provide software and technical support, project management, design, procurement and Fleet support
- Conducting research, analysis, and testing of new solutions
- Ensure adherence to existing data governance policies
- Understanding and abiding by Policy, applicable OH and S legislation and other appropriate regulatory standards
Qualified Applicants Possess:
- Diploma in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Finance, or related discipline with a minimum of 3 years' work experience OR Grade 12 with related continuous learning classes and a minimum of 6 years work experience
- Work Experience is in an enterprise technology environment and/or experience in operations or municipal government
- Experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software solutions, systems, or products
- Understating of ArcGIS and AutoCAD
- Microsoft Office and Planner
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
