Description

Bourgault Machines INC. is a startup company located in St. Brieux, Saskatchewan, the home of Bourgault Industries Ltd., Bourgault Tillage Tools Ltd. and DryAir Manufacturing Corporation. Bourgault Machines INC. is looking for an experienced fabricator to build prototypes of attachments such as those used on skid loaders, tractors and wheel loaders, as well as to manage the materials procurement, receiving, inspection and dealing with any non-conformance issues for the projects. A less experienced candidate with sufficient experience and a desire to learn quickly would also be considered.  A candidate must possess the ability to achieve design intent with regards to finished dimensions, fit, finish and trueness. This person would also be required to provide feedback to designers, as well as make suggestions for improving their designs and making them more efficient to manufacture. This individual would be reporting to and working under the direction of a very experienced designer and fabricator. However, besides fabricating and modifying prototypes, this person would be involved in the testing process and would be expected to participate in meetings to propose potential solutions to the problems and performance issues that are identified during testing. As such, the candidate would need the ability to proficiently operate equipment such as skid loaders, tractors and wheel loaders and be capable of moving attachments from one test location to another location using a  ton truck and trailer for testing at a specific location so would need a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.  A successful candidate must have previously demonstrated the ability to work collaboratively and harmoniously in a team environment.

This would be a day job (no afternoon or night shifts) but there may be some occasional overtime requirements that are situation dependent.
