Camp Okema, operated by the Okema Society for Christian Development in the province of Saskatchewan, is an Anglican church camp that nurtures faith, friendship, and fun, while celebrating Gods love within his natural creation.

Located on Emma Lake, Saskatchewan.

Position Summary:
Camp Okema is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our grounds, buildings, and equipment. This role ensures a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for campers and rental groups. The Facilities Manager will also supervise a full-time Junior Maintenance staff member to assist with daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain grounds, buildings, and equipment, including water, heating, and septic systems.
Supervise and provide direction to the Junior Maintenance staff member.
Keep facilities clean and stocked, including waste removal and minor repairs.
Monitor water potability, and fridge/freezer temperatures.
Maintain tools, machinery, and firewood supply.
Conduct inspections before and after each camp session.
Assist with emergency situations and staff support as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and report major repair needs.

Requirements:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a Christ-centered camp setting.
Experience in maintenance or related fields preferred.
Supervisory skills are an asset.
Valid drivers license (vehicle an asset).
Criminal Record Check required.

Work Conditions:
30 hours per week, with on-site accommodation and meals provided when camp is in operation.
Option to live off-site within 40 km of Camp Okema.
Salary and contract details provided at the interview.
Available to work from May 1st to September 1st.
