Description

The Paving Supervisor is responsible for all the field activities, crew members and training under the asphalt division. This position is a blend of traditional Foreman duties and Superintendent duties. Our season operates form early May to early November. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Paving Supervisor to join our team. The Paving Supervisor will oversee and manage paving projects, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of paving crew members.
Plan daily paving activities, ensuring timely completion.
Inspect work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
Operate and maintain paving equipment including but not limited to Paver, Screed, Rollers and Skid steers.
Train and mentor crew members, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
Communicate effectively with Directors, project managers and clients.
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily reports and time sheets.
