Description

In this role, you will:
- Conduct geological studies, including geology, structural geology, hydrothermal alteration, geochemistry, and mineral deposit studies
- Provide technical geological support and collaborate as a member of our exploration project teams, including drill target selection, geological interpretations, geological map/section reviews and editing, report writing
- Be responsible for training and mentoring of geological staff
- Lead collaborative projects with the academic community and support internal and external research
- Be responsible for generative evaluations and compilations
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the projects within our Exploration portfolio and their broader regional geology
- Effectively communicate technical results and recommendations to a variety of audiences
- Be committed to developing a strong safety and environment culture, promoting it through Camecos safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) management systems

Required:
- Graduate degree in geology or geological engineering
- You must be eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS)
- At least ten years of geological experience with at least 4 years in mineral exploration
- Ability to work in remote locations
- Drill core logging for mineral exploration (preferably uranium)
- Digital literacy with various office and geological software programs (e.g., ArcGIS Pro, Leapfrog, Geoscience ANALYST, acQuire, Microsoft Office)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Willingness to work in a team environment

Recommended:
- Uranium exploration experience (preferably in the Athabasca Basin)
- GIS and 3D geological modelling proficiency
- Valid drivers license, first aid, ATV, watercraft, and/or snowmobile training
