This includes determining portion sizes, estimating food requirements and costs, and accommodating specific requirements for large catering orders with custom-made menus. The role also involves supervising kitchen helpers, overseeing kitchen operations, and preparing an inventory list that requires refills. Throughout all tasks, the cook must uphold high quality, safety,andhygiene standards.
