Are you a skilled Cabinetmaker/custom fabricator with a passion for architectural millwork? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
Hy-Grade Millwork is a reputable architectural millwork shop specializing in custom fabrication for commercial, and institutional projects. We are seeking a Custom Fabricator to join our dynamic team of skilled craftsmen.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of woodworking machinery, hand tools, and equipment to fabricate custom millwork pieces.
- Cut, shape, and assemble materials to create quality custom millwork.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols and guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and solve fabrication challenges to deliver exceptional craftsmanship and quality.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines and deliver superior client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a custom fabricator, preferably in an architectural millwork shop or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of different materials, such as wood, laminates, veneers, and hardware.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, and specifications.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality craftsmanship.
- Solid time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials when required.
Preferred but not required qualifications:
- Vocational or trade school training in woodworking or a related field.
- Knowledge of finishing techniques and materials.
