We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our HR Team! As our HR Generalist, you will be a key point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance and support across various HR functions.
Grain Millers is an international agri-business with interests in whole grain manufacturing, merchandising, Grain, and oilseed milling and other Value-added Manufacturing. We are one of the North America's premier Oat Milling companies that supplies customers both locally and globally. Our plants are located across North America with our Canadian headquarters in Yorkton, Saskatchewan.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The HR Generalist will be responsible for the recruitment, staffing process and other HR functions. You will be required to develop action plans and provide expertise throughout the organization.
Job duties include end-to-end recruitment process and selection including advertising, screening, interviewing qualified candidates and along with manager making decisions on final selections. This also includes developing Job descriptions, attending career fairs and college grad shows. You will be responsible for onboarding new hires and conducting orientation sessions. As HR Generalist you will participating as required in employee discipline, grievance and other labour relations issues
Qualifications:
Diploma in Business Management / Human Resource Management
1-3 years of previous experience in HR functions.
Experience through the full recruitment life cycle is required
Experience working in a unionized environment.
General knowledge of employment laws and practices
