The Program Manager will be responsible for the Pathways to Reconciliation Project, leading efforts to combat and prevent hate through intercultural understanding. This role focuses on tracking and measuring Saskatchewans progress on the TRC Calls to Action, MMIWG2S+ Calls for Justice, and UNDRIP Articles through Reconciliation Mapping and training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project implementation, overseeing processes, training, and evaluation
Collaborate with community partners, Indigenous organizations, and stakeholders to enhance Reconciliation efforts
Engage and educate the public on Reconciliation progress and anti-hate strategies
Ensure compliance with funding agreements and AFCS policies
Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate challenges
Develop a measurement plan to track Saskatchewans Reconciliation progress
Provide project reports and recommendations for policy and program improvements
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Deep understanding of Indigenous cultures and Reconciliation frameworks
Demonstrated leadership in program management and community development
Strong knowledge of anti-racism, anti-discrimination, and intercultural training methodologies
Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder projects and facilitate collaborative partnerships
Exceptional communication skills, including public speaking, negotiation, and advocacy
Experience in data collection, evaluation, and impact measurement
Previous experience leading Reconciliation-based programs
Experience in budget planning and financial reporting
