Description

We currently have an opening for an Process/ Production Supervisor based out of our location in Moose Jaw, SK.

The Process/ Production Supervisor provides leadership and direction to all employees to meet our customers needs, maintaining quality, food safety, and the health and safety of our employees.

Responsibilities

Plans manpower requirements.
Provides leadership and direct supervision to employees.
Manages safe, cost effective, efficient production.
Continuously improve manufacturing process, efficiencies, and quality.
Ensures compliance with Company policies, federal and provincial legislation.
Provides a safe working environment for all employees, and compliance to the Saskatchewan Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and Company operating procedures and policies.
Ensures the quality of our product, ensure all HACCP, CFIA and Food Safe regulations are followed.
Maintains a positive employee relations environment.
Leads by example, provide leadership by setting team goals and objectives.

Requirements

5 years experience in logistics and freight movement.
Great interpersonal skills and a great leader; Good listening skills.
Self-directing, motivated, and passionate.
Experience in meat processing.
Familiar with business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources).
Knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, efficiency and inventory stewardship.
Ability to set goals and create accountability. Lead by example.
Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills.
Organized and ability to adhere to deadlines.
Excellent communication skills  written / spoken.
Bachelor of Commerce an asset.
Working knowledge of WorkSafeSask regulations.
