SUMMARY: The Mental Health Therapist provides therapeutic services to various individuals including children, adolescents and adult clients. He/She operates in an outreach environment, such as in homes, schools, and/or community agencies.
-must possess an undergraduate degree from an accredited post-secondary institution specializing in Social Work or Psychology complimented by at least (4)four years experience in Health Care at the First Nations Level.
-alternatively, the individual must possess a certificate from an accredited post-secondary institution specialized in social work complimented by at least four (4) years experience in Health Care at the First Nations level.
-Strong professional development skills to promote teamwork, unity and harmony with staff, clients and membership.
