Description

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Class 1 Driver to handle a mix of city and highway driving based out of Saskatoon, SK. This role consists of 75% city driving and 25% highway work as required, ensuring efficient and timely deliveries to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
    Safely operate a Class 1 commercial vehicle for local deliveries and pickups within Saskatoon and surrounding areas.
    Complete occasional highway runs (25%) as required for longer-distance deliveries.
    Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
    Load and unload freight when required, ensuring proper cargo securement.
    Maintain accurate logbooks, trip reports, and delivery records.
    Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and interactions.
    Communicate with dispatch and report any delays, issues, or maintenance needs.
    Follow all federal, provincial, and company safety regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:
    Valid Class 1 Drivers License with a clean drivers abstract.
    Minimum 3 years of Class 1 driving experience, preferably with both city and highway experience.
    Strong knowledge of Saskatoon and surrounding areas.
    Ability to handle physical work, including loading/unloading as required.
    Strong time management and organizational skills.
    Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
