The Ministry of Highways, Southern Operations is seeking a term Equipment Operator for the Qu'Appelle Section Roving Crew. This position will be an entry level position which duties include: flagging and light equipment operation.

You must be able and willing to work in physically demanding conditions and perform physical labour, heavy lifting and climbing. You will keep records and logs of hours of operation, repairs and amounts of materials applied to highways. You will work under extreme and changing climate conditions and must be willing to travel and work flexible hours. As a member of a team who ensures public safety, you will have the opportunity to work with new and advanced technologies and equipment.

You will be approachable and flexible in dealing with members of the public and their work unit; self-motivated to complete tasks; adaptable to changing work situations; and must work well in an environment that recognizes, supports, respects and welcomes diversity of employees and clients. You will have a graduated Class 5 Licence.
