Description

We are on the lookout for a talented and motivated Intermediate Project Planner to join our team in Saskatoon. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of planning projects across Western Canada while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of professionals.

Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    Site planning and development feasibility analysis
    Leading and facilitating public and stakeholder engagement sessions
    Performing economic, physical, and social analysis to inform planning decisions
    Research and report writing
    Drafting policy and regulatory documents
    Subdivision design
    Collaborating with planning, engineering, and environmental colleagues to prepare deliverables
    Preparing and delivering presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences
    Preparing a variety of statutory plans, including Official Community Plans, Municipal Development Plans, and Sector, Neighbourhood, or Area Structure Plans
    Preparing non-statutory plans, including concept plans, comprehensive development reviews, and outline plans
    Preparing site plans, as well as development, discretionary use, and rezoning applications
    Engaging with potential new clients to support business development opportunities

You will report directly to the Manager, Urban Planning, but will work collaboratively with colleagues throughout the SASK operation. You will also coordinate public and private sector planning work in communities across Western Canada.
