Job Description: The Dietitian-Degree provides patient care by attending to the nutritional needs of inpatients and ambulatory patients through regular and therapeutic diets. This employee acts as a consultant for medical staff regarding nutritional matters. This employee also provides assistance to the Food Service Managers as well as the employees in the Food and Nutrition Services department regarding clinical client related concerns.

Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (BSc(Nutr))
- Dietetic Internship certificate
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
Competencies
- Excellent assessment, diagnostic and intervention skills
- Computer skills
Knowledge and Abilities
- Ability to be proactive and creative in decision making
- Demonstrated knowledge in educational resource development.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate both one-on-one and in groups
- Ability to implement nutritional care plans
- Demonstrate sound judgment in assessing and analyzing nutritional care plans
- Ability to communicate with, and deal effectively with co-workers
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to prioritize work
- Ability to provide group education and support in area of nutrition and diet
- Ability to communicate with and deal effectively with clients and their families
