Description

We are excitedly working through our final stages of opening our new childcare centre! If you have training and experience in Early Childhood Education, experience in creating a safe and enjoying learning environment for children and are passionate and dedicated to Early Childhood Education, we would like you to join our team of qualified and experienced educators.

Key Responsibilities of this position include but is not limited to:

- Plan and implement age-appropriate play and learning experiences that consider childrens interests and promotes all areas of childrens development
- Create and maintain a safe, clean, and welcome environment
- Observe and monitor childrens progress using photographs and documentation
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about their childs development, daily activities, accomplishments, and any concerns
- Develop and follow a daily routine that balances active/quiet times and indoor/outdoor play
- Guide childrens behavior using positive discipline and established guiding childrens behavior strategies. Role model and support childrens learning of making positive choices
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and daily activities
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including proper sanitization procedures
- Collaborate with other staff on our team to ensure quality and consistency
