Job Title: Program Manager/ Facilitator

Program:Choose to Change, previously known as Family Violence
Hours: 35 hours per week            
Location:Yorkton        
Start Date: April 14, 2025

The Choose to Change Program Manager, operates the Choose to Change program by: educating referred clients on the cycle of abuse; providing community awareness opportunities; advocating for and supporting people experiencing family violence; managing the reporting and the budget of the program. The position requires an individual that is independent, communicative, and respectful and is able to connect with other agencies and programs effectively.

Expectations
Understand causes of family violence and the cycle of violence
Understand and utilize a trauma informed approach
Provide supports and education to all clients
Advocate and facilitate presentations about family violence
Develop safety plans for individuals and families
Maintain and model appropriate personal boundaries
Appropriately support the cultural diversity of clients
Coordinate and participate in case and file management
Accurately compile caseload statistics and program reports
Communicate effectively and use a professional approach with all stakeholders
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards

Qualifications and experience
A Bachelor of Social Work, a degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of work experience and education that is acceptable to the Board of Directors
A Valid Drivers License and a safe, reliable vehicle
Experience in planning and facilitating groups
A recent (6 months or less), clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
