At DoubleTree by Hilton Regina, were looking for an Accountant who will play a vital role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly. Reporting to the Controller, youll be a key player in ensuring financial accuracy, supporting management with reports, and maintaining the integrity of our accounts.
What Youll Do:
-Assist in preparing monthly financial statements that guide business decisions.
-Verify and correct banquet billings, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
-Maintain control over accounts receivables, credit reviews, and collections.
-Process EFTs, credit card payments, and direct bill invoices with precision.
-Reconcile night audit variances and select balance sheet accounts.
-Prepare internal financial reports to support strategic planning.
-Collaborate with teams across the hotel to ensure financial accuracy.
What You Bring to the Table:
-Post secondary diploma or Certificate in Accounting.
-2-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping (hospitality experience is a plus!).
-Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and comfort with financial software.
-Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.
-The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
