Customer Service Attendant
Fond-du-lac (ZFD)
Part Time / Permanent

Job Purpose

The Customer Service Attendant is responsible for providing superior customer service and maintaining positive customer relationships while performing check-in duties. This position backs up ground service attendants and may also assist in providing ground service duties when required.

Primary Responsibilities
Ensure that passengers travelling are deemed "fit to fly" in accordance with the regulations.
Assist passengers to enplane, deplane and with their baggage.
Track lost luggage to and from all bases and mine sites.
Monitor radio and communicate as required.
Where required at a base:
Accept and handle cargo according to respective customers' cargo screening programs.
Inquire with passengers about dangerous goods in baggage and cargo.
Process and/or track all baggage and freight requirements.

General Responsibilities
Develop and maintain knowledge of the company's vision, mission, and values.
Customers service attendants will be cross-trained with ground service attendants, detailers, and cargo agents, where applicable, to provide those duties/coverage when necessary.
Safety responsibilities as outlined in the Safety Management System (SMS) manual.
