Our customers are homeowners seeking energy efficiency, contractors who want a competitive edge, and building professionals who need comprehensive solutions. We are looking for a Block Molder with a 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate to join our Saskatoon, SK team.

POSITION SUMMARY:

FUNCTIONAL  RESPONSIBILITIES:

Able to perform Blockmoulder or Prefoamer tasks interchangeably.
Perform blockmoulding operation consisting of filling mould cavity and adjusting all gauges to produce a quality block to meet Plasti-Fab guidelines.
Moving raw material and blocks.
Operation of pre-expanders to specified densities and volumes.
Ensure that all necessary information is recorded accurately.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Report any irregularities in equipment or bead performance.
Perform regular density checks.
All other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

     Must have good math and analytical skills and an understanding of the prefoaming and blockmoulding processes.
     Physically able to frequently handle awkward and heavy material.
     Able to organize and complete work with minimum supervision in a safe manner.
     Able to complete paperwork as required.
     Able to prefoam consistently and according to standard operating practices.
     Able to blockmould consistently with required fusion and weight.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  Minimum grade 12 education.
  4th Class Stationary Engineer ticket.
  Tow Motor license/certificate.
  On the job experience.
