Description

Position Summary:

The City of Regina is seeking a dynamic leader for the Manager, Roadways Seasonal Operations role. This position involves overseeing the Citys winter maintenance operations, including road, sidewalk, and alley plowing, ice control, snow removal, and Snow Storage Site management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in team building, financial management, and stakeholder relationship management, with a focus on making data-driven decisions and fostering a collaborative, safe workplace culture.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage and deliver winter maintenance and snow clearing programs for roads, sidewalks, and alleys.

Develop and implement a 24/7 shift schedule to ensure adequate coverage and promote employee work/life balance.

Track and monitor Key Performance Indicators to continuously improve winter maintenance operations.

Oversee financial reporting and strategic planning, including a long-term financial plan.

Promote safety and compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards.

Foster a positive workplace culture by encouraging employee engagement and collaboration.
