Millwright/Welder Position
Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan

Potters Canada has an immediate need for a Millwright/Welder position at our Moose Jaw facility in Saskatchewan.  This is a full time position which reports directly to the Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Safe and proper set up/operation of all maintenance equipment and tools complying with safety legislation and company policy
- Perform all mechanical maintenance and repairs on plant equipment  including preventive maintenance and breakdowns
- Manage and electronically document mechanical PMs
- Basic repairs on powered mobile equipment
- Setup and operate welding equipment processes including SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, plasma; gas cutting, layout, tack and weld to specifications.
- Maintain and manage stock of mechanical spare parts
- Respond to emergency call-in or breakdowns as necessary.

An understanding and exercise of ISO 9001:2015 practices during the performance of duties.  

Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License                
Licensed Journey Person Millwright or Welder in the province of Saskatchewan
Computer literacy is a must
Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 is an asset
Ability to work in an environment with shifting priorities and meets deadlines
