Description

Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients and office visitors both in-person and over the phone with a professional and courteous demeanor.
Answer and route incoming phone calls promptly and efficiently.
Schedule appointments for patient office visits, lab tests, and medical procedures.
Maintain and organize medical records, filing documentation as required.
Provide professional support to doctors, staff, patients, and visitors.
Manage office inventory, including monitoring supplies, scheduling equipment, and arranging maintenance as needed. Ensure stock levels are maintained and orders are placed in a timely manner.
Adhere to confidentiality protocols for patient and staff information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments 24-48 hours in advance.
Follow all office policies and procedures while completing assigned tasks.
Accurately document patient visits and information into the offices Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree (preferred but not essential).
Certification in administration or medical administration (advantageous).
1-2 years of experience as a Medical Receptionist in a healthcare setting (preferred).
Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations (highly preferred).
Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively.
Exceptional organizational and administrative skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure and handle emergency situations.
Discretion and sensitivity when handling confidential information.
Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in the use of computers and medical software.
Additional Information:
A probationary period of at least 3 months will apply to the successful candidate.
