Description

Key Responsibilities:
- Properly prepare and attach Holter monitors to patients, explaining the procedure and ensuring patient comfort.
- Educate patients on how to wear the Holter monitor and provide clear instructions on what to avoid during monitoring.
- Ensure that the Holter ECG monitor records accurate and complete data during the monitoring period.
- Safely remove Holter devices after monitoring, ensuring that all recordings have been correctly captured.
- Review Holter ECG recordings and prepare reports for interpretation by the supervising physician.
- Ensure all ECG recordings are transferred, stored, and maintained securely, adhering to confidentiality standards.
- Work with clinic software and equipment to process and interpret results.
- Maintain professionalism and a compassionate demeanor while interacting with patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Demonstrate clear communication skills when explaining test procedures or instructions.
- Ensure that patients' privacy and dignity are always respected, especially during procedures.
- Regularly check Holter ECG equipment and ensure it is in optimal working condition.
- Report any malfunctioning or damaged equipment promptly and arrange for repairs or replacements as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with the clinics medical and administrative staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with scheduling, managing patient flow, and other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited ECG or Cardiac Technician program.
Certification in ECG/Holter Monitoring (optional but preferred).
Current CPR certification. Or experience in these areas.
