Position Overview: Were looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Technician, who will play a crucial role in the dealership.

Key Responsibilities:

Reports: You provide sales and expense analyses, highlighting potential problem areas and opportunities for improved profitability relative to monthly and annual forecasts.
Financial Statements: Monthly, you prepare a complete financial statement according to dealership guidelines.
You ensure that all relevant accounts, including warranty claims, rebates, interest protection, and co-op advertising, are current and accurate.
Trend Analysis: Regularly interpret the financial statement and the daily operating control (DOC) to inform the dealer of developing trends.
Forecasting: Participate in the preparation of short- and long-term financial forecasts for the dealership.
Management Reports: Provide detailed financial and management reports to department managers.
Cash Management: Maintain an effective cash management system, forecasting cash funds, and recommending profitable use of excess cash.
Depreciation Assessment: Direct assessment of depreciation rates for capital assets.
General Ledger Oversight: Review the general ledger, scheduled accounts, and investigate any unusual entries.
Bank Reconciliation.
