Description

Job Description: As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of D' Calabash. Your role will include managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining inventory, and upholding the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits
- Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
- Evaluate daily operations
- Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
- Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
- Monitor staff performance
- Plan and organize daily operations
- Recruit staff
- Set staff work schedules
- Train staff
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
- Conduct performance reviews
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Provide customer service
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new customers

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of restaurant management software and POS systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required Certifications:
Food Safety Certification
First Aid and CPR Certification
Alcohol Service Certification (e.g., Serve It Right Saskatchewan)
