REACH (Regina Education and Action on Community Hunger) works to ensure that everyone in Regina has access to safe, nutritious, culturally acceptable, and affordable food. The Summer Lunch Program helps achieve that goal by providing free lunches and snacks to children at many locations in Regina in partnership with several summer recreation programs. We are seeking two assistants to work with other staff and volunteers to deliver the Summer Lunch Program. Duties include:
Preparing and packaging meals and snacks
Ensuring delivery drivers have the correct packages for each site
Clean up of meal preparation space
Assisting with deliveries if needed
The program runs from Friday, July 4 to Friday, August 15. Hours are 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday to Thursday, and 7:00 am to 2:30 pm Friday. Some flexibility in hours may be required.
Experience in food handling is an asset. The successful candidate will be required to submit a criminal record check.
