As there is a diversity in clients needs, Male & Female Family Support Workers are welcome to apply for this position . Provides support to families and their children through culturally appropriate holistic healing and preventative services. It is an in-home service to ensure the safety of children and maintain the family unit and work in partnership with the Ministry of Social Services. Applicants should have experience working with families and children in delivery of support services; have knowledge of child development, effective parenting skills, life skills and an awareness of community resources. Contract position usually considered full time.

- Team oriented with strong independent skills
- Must have knowledge understanding and sensitivity to cultural and
traditional parenting practices
- Able to work flexible hours, including evening and weekends
- Criminal Record Check required
- CPR/First Aid Certificate
- Drivers Abstract, Valid Drivers license and a reliable/insurable
vehicle
