Description

As a Motorcycle Mechanic Apprentice at Alsport Sales Ltd, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the safe and efficient operation of motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobile's, and other powersport vehicles. Your responsibilities will include:

Diagnosing mechanical issues: Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to inspect and test engines and other mechanical components.

Repairing and maintaining motorcycles and powersport vehicles: Adjust, repair, or replace parts in mechanical or electrical systems using hand tools and specialized equipment.

Scheduled maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire replacement, brake checks, and suspension repairs.

Customer service: Provide customers with clear explanations about the work performed, the condition of their vehicles, and recommendations for future maintenance.

Safety compliance: Ensure all work is conducted according to safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Cost estimation: Provide customers with accurate repair cost estimates and complete work in a timely manner.

Team collaboration: Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service.
Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Motorcycle Mechanic or in a similar role, with expertise in mechanical systems.
Completion of secondary school is required.
Knowledge and experience with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
Ability to repair and service a variety of motorcycles, ATVs, and snowmobile's.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with customers.
Certification as a Motorcycle Mechanic (preferred but not required in some provinces).
Previous experience in a Motorcycle Dealership or Powersport is an asset.
