The Prevention Program Manager is responsible for coordinating the Family Advocate Program and coordinating the Community Programming. These programs provide Primary and Secondary Supports focused on early intervention, family strengthening, and community-based initiatives that help prevent the need for Protection Supports (Tertiary Supports). This role ensures families receive in-home supports, community-based services, and culturally appropriate programming that promotes well-being, stability, and resilience. The Prevention Program Manager works closely with the Community Program Supervisor, Family Advocate Supervisor, and Program Providers and Family Advocates to develop, implement, and evaluate prevention-focused strategies that support families and strengthen the community.
Experience in managing prevention-focused programs and leading multidisciplinary teams.
Strong understanding of Indigenous family systems, traditions, and community wellness approaches.
Training in trauma-informed care, early intervention, and culturally safe programming is an asset.
Proficiency in program reporting, Microsoft Office, and funding applications.
