The Mental Health & Addictions Program Manager is responsible for coordinating, implementing, and supporting mental health and addiction programs within the community. This role focuses on service coordination, case management, outreach, and education to ensure individuals and families receive the support they need. The Manager will work closely with the Mental Health Director, healthcare professionals, and community organizations to enhance access to culturally appropriate and effective mental health and addiction services.
Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and culturally appropriate support strategies.
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, government agencies, and community organizations.
Experience working with Indigenous communities is an asset.
Knowledge of Indigenous culture, traditions, and approaches to healing is an asset.
