Are you a detail-oriented, proactive individual who thrives in a team environment? We are currently recruiting for an Operations Assistant to join our team based out of our Strongfield, SK location. As an operations assistant, you will be responsible for daily tasks including routine maintenance of site and vehicles, and ensuring products and supplies are delivered, distributed, received, packaged and stored in a safe manner according to established policies and procedures.

Hawks Agro, a division of the JGL, is a proud locally owned and operated independent agriculture retailer with seven locations located throughout South Western Saskatchewan.  

Duties & Responsibilities
- Customer product deliveries
- Managing fuel site maintenance and weekly site monitoring
- Customer support for loading oil, crop protection products, welding tanks, and feed supply products
- General vehicle maintenance
- Loading propane
- Loading, unloading and organizing product storage in the warehouse
- Daily travel and extended hours may be required seasonally
- Be able to lift 50-100 lbs.



Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum valid class 5 driver's license, preferably a class 1 or 3 along with clean driver abstract
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Organized, self-directed and self-motivated
- Excellent time management skills and strong work ethic
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High commitment to learning new technologies and agronomic practices
- Excellent computer skills with the ability to use MS Office Suite
- Positive and upbeat attitude
- Eager to learn
