There is an opening for an individual with great organizational and people skills to enhance our small, but growing team in providing exceptional service under scheduled timelines to address the needs of our diverse client portfolio.
The applicant will be required to assist and provide direction with:
* Bookkeeping and payroll data entry, government filings, bank and loan reconciling, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable management, and client file set up
* Personal income tax entry and address related government correspondence
* Corporate tax preparation - entry and reconciling of Corporate year end documents, T2 and Financial Information Statement preparation
* To work directly with all staff to assist in government deadline compliance
* Some office management and reception duties as required
Minimum requirements include 2 years of accounting education or equivalent work experience. This position is ideal for applicants working towards a degree or diploma as our diverse workload provides work in business and personal tax as well as non-profits and Review-required businesses.
Knowledge of agriculture, small business, non-profit organizations, QuickBooks, Ag Expert and/or Simply Accounting programs are all asset.
