Description

This position supports a variety of positions including Community Services and Shipping/Receiving, and is coordinated from Southeast Regional Library Headquarters in Weyburn. The employee in this position will support Community Services in the development, implementation, and maintenance of HQ resources, materials, Indigenous programs and services, and region-wide programs;  they cover shipping and receiving, sorting, and routing functions at Headquarters. They must have the ability to operate computer equipment and be comfortable driving a variety of vehicles. They report to the Community Services Manager or Designate.

Typical Duties:
  Assist with the development and maintenance of programming
   resources and kits including Book Club in a Bag, Literacy kits,
   Promotional kits, Parade kits, Makerspace kits, and more
  Organize, sort, and load library materials into bins and delivery
   vehicles as required
  Open and sort library materials in bins
  Assist with the Take a Book, Trade a Book services visits to First
   Nations communities
  Assist with planning and executing social media content
  Assist in development of online staff training tutorials
  Other clerical duties as needed
  Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or designate

Qualifications:
Must be completing or have already completed Grade 12, or attending a post-secondary institution; must have good organizational skills and ability to maintain a tidy and clean workspace, must be able to sort and organize deliveries; accuracy in maintaining records; ability to operate office and computer equipment; good communication skills; ability to work as part of a team; availability to work flexible hours; possession of a valid driver license; physical fitness allowing the lifting and moving of boxes of library materials (up to 25 kg).
