Description

Mazurek Industries is a welding and machining shop in Carrot River that requires a full time permanent Journey person and / or apprentice Millwright who is looking for challenging work on a wide variety of equipment serving numerous industries.

Journeyman papers are an asset but not necessary, if the chosen candidate wishes to further their education in the millwright industry, apprenticeship can be discussed.

Job Description

- Read drawings, blueprints and manuals to establish task procedures
- Using rigging equipment
- Fitting, aligning and attaching mechanical components
- Testing equipment for efficiency and making adjustments when necessary
- Completing inspections and replacing defective equipment.
- Servicing hydraulic systems.
- Maintaining inventory of the parts worked on during an installation
- Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities
- Perform other duties as required
