Description

Trailtech is in need of Journeyman welder fabricator. Must weld using GMAW to fabricate flat deck trailers and sub-assemblies according to blueprints & specifications. Must read measuring tape to minimum of 1/32". Must operate overhead cranes. must ensure welds meet standards.  Must operate oxy acetylene cutting equipment and hand plasma. Responsible for maintaining safe and clean work environment & performing minor repairs on welding equipment. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Experience with R&D projects and trailer manufacturing preferred. Needs strong problem-solving, planning, organizing skills with strong work ethic. WHMIS, saw, press brake, drill, shear & forklift operations, familiarity with CNC are assets.  Attention to details and safety.  Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
