Description

Position and Responsibilities
-Operating, inspecting and maintain the main cage and skip conveyance
-Preparing equipment and materials to be moved to and from the underground using slings and rigging
-Operating equipment such as JCB loader and skid steer loader
-Working with a diverse workforce (Cameco employees, contractors and trades personnel)
-Fulfil all duties as detailed in the mines regulations Mine Shaft 3 operator training requirements

Requirements of the position:
-Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent
-Minimum two years of underground mining experience
-Must successfully pass the crane and rigging course
-Rotating day/night shift schedule
-Able to work at heights using fall arrest
-Willing to work in confined spaces
-Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
