Description

The Touchwood Child & Family Services Inc.  is searching for a highly motivated individual to fill the 6 month term position of House mom - cook/cleaner at the Emergency Receiving home located on the Muskowekwan First NAtion.

Main Duties:
Prepare a healthy monthly food menu which provides nutritious meals and snacks, combining Cultural foods and the Canada Food Guide. Plan for special events (eg.birthdays etc) and meal plans for special outings or trips.prepare pre-cooked meals for the week-end.
Prepare a monthly food budget and be accountable for the cost and the purchasing of all the groceries.

Provide information and guidance to other team members within the area of household safety for children.
Provides leadership and training to new staff.
Displaying positive role modeling, values, and fairness.
Ensure child confidentiality at all times.
Provides input to team members on the childs needs.
Attend meetings as required. Adhere to all TCFS Inc. Policies.
Education:
    Professional Cooking Certificate and/or 2 years related work experience
    Valid Safe Food Handling Certificate
