Description

Explore this Property Accountant role with our Client, a reputable and growing organization in the real estate and property management industry!

Based in Regina, Saskatchewan, you will report to the Controller and provide full-cycle accounting for commercial and industrial assets.

As the selected candidate, you will:
- Oversee and process the daily accounting requirements for assigned real estate portfolios including income producing and development properties.

- Process and provide full cycle accounting support including preparation of accounts receivables and accounts payable, general ledger entries and cash balance management.

- Maintain financial records, account reconciliations, research and conduct audits to confirm enquiries regarding tenant statements.

- Prepare annual operating budgets as well as monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting including financial statements and variance analysis.

- Assist with the preparation of documents for annual audits and tax filing processes.

EDUCATION:  A related Degree/Diploma in Accounting is preferred.  

EXPERIENCE:   2+ years accounting experience, ideally within property accounting.
