You'll be at the heart of one of Saskatoons most vibrant neighbourhoods, keeping it looking beautiful and welcoming by watering flowers, weeding, sweeping, keeping things tidy, and being a friendly face for visitors.

Term:
6 hours per day, Monday - Friday (30 hours/week)
7:30 AM 2:00 PM (one unpaid hour break)
June 2nd August 29th
Wage:
$17 / Hour
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the maintenance and enhancement of the Broadway Districts streetscape; including but not limited to litter collection, sidewalk sweeping, weeding and watering flowers, and poster barrel maintenance.
- Conduct oneself with respect and integrity by being a friendly and helpful source of information for those visiting the area.
- Report to the maintenance supervisor who oversees the daily routine and provides training, guidance, and support where necessary.
- The successful applicant will receive a safety vest, gloves, and footwear.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Be enthusiastic about working outside in any conditions.
- Be knowledgeable (or willing to learn) about the Broadway area.
- Able to provide exceptional service with a pro-active can-do attitude.
- Must be physically fit - able to stand on feet all shift, climb ladders, and lift 30 lbs.
- Have strong interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and on a team.
- Previous gardening or flower care experience is an asset.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and under 30 as this is a Canada Summer Jobs position.
