Description

The RM of Pleasantdale No. 398 is accepting application for a Full-Time Temporary Grader Operator. This position may have the potential for full-time employment and weekend work may be required.

Skills and Abilities:
Possess a valid drivers license. Class 1A is an asset.
Experience as a grader operator
Operate other types of equipment an asset
Email & text functionality
Strong work ethic, good organizational, interpersonal & decision-making skills
Being honest, trustworthy, respectful, possess cultural awareness and sensitivity, as well as being flexible are all assets to any position with the RM of Pleasantdale #398
Must be able to complete physically demanding work and motivation

Duties Include but not limited to:
Perform road maintenance in a safe & professional manner
Ensure all safety protocols are followed and perform maintenance checks and service on equipment
Comply with policy & procedures as implemented by the Council, as well as any other regulations & workplace standards as required
Must be willing to undergo training as applicable. (WMHIS, PME, First Aid, Ground Disturbance, TDG)
Capable of working at a minimum or without supervision - alone, with other employees & the general public
Taking direction from & directly responsible to the Foreman/Supervisor

There is a 90-day probationary period.
