Great Plains College is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic instructor for our Electrical program at the Swift Current Campus. This position will involve curriculum updates, with the selected candidate receiving training as part of succession planning from the current instructor.

Position Details:
Total Contract Days: up to 200 hours
Start date: July 2, 2025
End date: January 27, 2026

Qualifications:
The Electrical Instructor should bring the following qualifications to this position:
-Organize and deliver instruction
-Effective communication skills (written and oral)
-Effective interpersonal skills
-Maintain records of student achievement, attendance, or other information as required, and report such information according to established procedures
-Continually assess the skills, and monitor the learning and behaviors of students enrolled in the program and provide information to these students regarding the appropriateness and/or adequacy of their performance
-Plan, coordinate and/or teach, and evaluate activities, which are aimed at developing students' employability.
-Journeyman status in the Electrical trade in Saskatchewan
-Two (2) or more years of recent post-Journeyperson experience (2 years' experience in the last 5 years)
-Candidates with experience and/or training in adult education are preferred.
